Terms of Use

Scaffold — replace with Termly-generated ToS plus the mandatory clauses below. Borrow structure from RaceChrono ToS. The two verbatim clauses below (Liability cap + v1 commitment) are required per spec §3.0.2 and MUST appear in the final published ToS.

What DynoMiata is

DynoMiata is a virtual dyno calculator for Mazda Miata (MX-5) vehicles. It takes OBD-II data you collect and computes an estimated horsepower curve. The math is open and the methodology is published at /methodology.html.

Liability and intended use

For informational and recreational use only. NOT for commercial vehicle valuation, racing competition, tuning verification, or warranty claims. Provided "as is". Liability capped at purchase price.

DynoMiata is an estimation tool. The numbers it produces are not a substitute for a calibrated chassis dynamometer. We do not warrant the accuracy or fitness of the output for any particular purpose.

Pro tier — what you're buying

A one-time purchase of DynoMiata Pro grants you the Pro features listed at dynomiata.com at the time of your purchase, for the lifetime of v1.

We commit to maintaining v1 of DynoMiata for at least 5 years from your purchase date. If we sunset, we will provide 12-month written notice and a CSV export of all your data before shutdown.

If we ship a future major version (v2), v1 keeps working as purchased. v2 is a separate purchase; nothing in your v1 access expires because v2 exists.

Refunds

30-day no-questions full refund for any buyer (one refund per buyer). After 30 days, refunds are at our discretion. See Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

Don't:

Submit data that isn't yours, or impersonate another person.
Probe or attempt to bypass our access controls.
Use the service to claim or imply commercial vehicle valuation, racing series tech compliance, or warranty validity.
Resell or re-publish our share-card PNGs as part of a commercial offering without permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination for cause, no refund is due. On termination without cause (e.g. service shutdown), the 12-month notice + data export commitment above applies.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be posted here with a "Last updated" date at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance.

Governing law and venue

To be set per the founder's jurisdiction in the Termly-generated text.
